Bill next called his attorney George Fremont, “George” Bill said when his attorney answered the phone, “Bill, what do I owe the pleasure of this call on a Sunday no less” Mr. Fremont said. “Oh come now George don’t be like that” Bill said, “The caretaker has secured the property and has found a huge marijuana operation in the process” he added. “Alright I will take care of it, the paperwork is ready to be signed” Mr. Fremont said, “Here is the number for Mr. Allen, I’ll leave everything to you” Bill said and gave the phone number for Mr. Allen. “Kevin should be here tomorrow and we need to be ready” he added, “I’ll get it handled but you are being charged extra for making me work on Sunday” Mr. Fremont said with a chuckle. “Yeah yeah George you old grump” Bill said with a chuckle, “You enjoy the rest of your Sunday, at least one of us gets to” Mr. Fremont said and the pair hung up the phone. Cheryl and Katherine came into the kitchen as Bill hung up, “I hope you don’t mind we borrowed your shower” Cheryl said, “Dad why are you in just your boxers?” she added. “Roy and I got interrupted” Bill said with a grin, “Oh wow” Katherine said. “Speaking of Roy, he and I need to make a trip up to Kansas to sort some things out next week, I was wondering if you two might have some time available to take off from work to help Ruth with the boys” Bill said. “Dwight has to teach during the day so it would leave just Ruth” Bill said, “I know she can handle it but I’m sure she would welcome the help” he added. “Yeah I have some time available” Cheryl said, “So do I and it might be nice” Katherine said. “I think the boys would really enjoy it and so would you” Bill said with a smile.
